In interior design, the colour white is about as classic as it gets. White works well in all types of spaces, from contemporary to traditional and everything in between. In this post, we’ll give you some tips for selecting a white quartz countertop and designing a kitchen around it effectively.

There are many different types of countertops but none compare to quartz when it comes to beauty and practicality. Quartz offers more variety than any other countertop material, including natural stones like granite.

For example, you can enjoy a brilliant, pure white countertop like our 2001 Super White, pictured above. White granite contains veining, which can ruin your kitchen’s aesthetic if you’re going for more of a pure white look.

If you do want veining, though, you can still find that with quartz via something like our 5030 London White.
 

 
By choosing a white quartz countertop with veining (as opposed to one made from natural stone) you’ll also reap the many quartz countertop benefits, like durability, while achieving the look and feel of natural stone.

Beyond natural stone, other countertop materials like laminate don’t even compare to quartz. The material’s properties allow us to achieve visual depth with our whites beyond what you’d find with laminate.
